What are the types of automobile air conditioning compressors?
1. Fixed displacement compressor:
The displacement of the fixed-displacement compressor increases proportionally with the increase of the engine speed. It cannot automatically change the power output according to the demand for refrigeration, and has a relatively large impact on the fuel consumption of the engine. Most of its adjustment is through collecting the temperature signal of the air outlet of the evaporator. When the temperature reaches the set temperature, the electromagnetic clutch of the compressor is released and the compressor stops working.
2. Variable displacement air conditioning compressor:
The variable displacement compressor can automatically adjust the power output according to the set temperature. The air-conditioning regulation system does not collect the temperature signal of the air outlet of the evaporator, but adjusts the compression ratio of the compressor according to the signal of the pressure change in the air-conditioning pipeline. The temperature of the air outlet is derived from the dynamic adjustment. In the whole process of refrigeration, the compressor is always working, and the adjustment of refrigeration intensity is completely dependent on the pressure regulating valve installed inside the compressor.
3. Crankshaft connecting rod compressor:
The working process of such a compressor may include four, namely, compression, exhaust, expansion, and suction. When the crankshaft rotates, the piston is driven to reciprocate by the connecting rod, and the working volume formed by the inner wall of the cylinder, the cylinder head and the top surface of the piston will change periodically, which in turn plays a role in compressing and transporting the refrigerant in the refrigeration system.
4. Axial piston compressor:
Axial piston compressor can be called the second generation compressor, often met with rocker plate or swash plate compressor, which is a popular product in automotive air conditioning compressor. The main components of the swash plate compressor are the main shaft and the swash plate. Each cylinder is circumferentially arranged with the main shaft of the compressor as the center, and the piston movement direction is parallel to the main shaft of the compressor.
5. Rotary vane compressor:
The cylinder shape of the rotary vane compressor is circular and elliptical. In a circular cylinder, the main shaft of the rotor has an eccentricity with the center of the cylinder, so that the rotor is close to the suction and exhaust holes on the inner surface of the cylinder. In an elliptical cylinder, the major axis of the rotor and the center of the ellipse coincide. The blades on the rotor divide the cylinder into several spaces. When the main shaft drives the rotor to rotate once, the volume of these spaces changes continuously, and the refrigerant vapor also changes in volume and temperature in these spaces.

The function and working principle of automobile air conditioning compressor
The automobile air-conditioning compressor is the "heart" of the automobile air-conditioning refrigeration system. Its function is to maintain the circulation of the refrigerant in the refrigeration system, suck in the low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant vapor from the evaporator, and compress the refrigerant vapor to increase its pressure and temperature. The refrigerant vapor is delivered to the condenser.
